609 AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Registration for Spring clubs will open on Thursday night, February 27th at exactly 8:00 pm so mark your calendars.
We usually have a very enthusiastic response so we recommend that you register as close to 8:00 as possible. We will close registration the next day - Friday, February 28 at 10:00 am.

As with Winter Clubs, many clubs will appear to be full so that you will be registering for the waitlist even if it’s very close to 8:00. This will let us understand the demand, and make any adjustments to the schedule, BEFORE parents pay and incur the website fees. When registration closes, parents will receive emails confirming whether the club will run and requesting prompt payment in order to keep the spot.
Please note that club registration is only open to PTA members. Clubs run from 4pm to 5pm; pickup will be at the school’s front door promptly at 5pm. Children will not be released into the parking lot.
Please only register your children for clubs they will enjoy. Instructors will not force children to participate, and children must behave appropriately. If you decide to cancel your child's registration or if you have registered for a club that is not for your child’s age group, you will receive a refund minus the website fees incurred by the PTA. Soccer with Soccer Shots - K -1st

Using creative and imaginative games, Soccer Shots sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting.

Color Guard Jr. - Girls 2nd
$155 (9 classes)
Led by Miss Liana, this club is inspired by our popular Color Guard club. Using scarves and small flags, the girls will learn routines and build strength and coordination. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Guitar for Beginners - 3rd-6th
$180 + $50 for guitar purchase (11 classes)
Kids will be introduced to the fundamentals of playing guitar in a small group setting. Led by Mark Wolkenfeld and supported by Creative Corner.

Color Guard, led by Miss Liana Benson, is a unique and creative way for girls to express themselves, learn to work as a team, and build strength and coordination. The girls will perform at school functions, including the Israeli Day Parade. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Vex Go Robotics - 4th and 5th

Racers, start your engines! Working in teams of two or three, children will use Vex Robotics equipment to design, build, and code their own one-of-a-kind robots. Completed robots will have the opportunity to compete against one another in a competition field by collecting and stacking obstacles. Students will compete this spring against other yeshivas. Taught by Morah Aimee Goldenberg.

Mat Ball - Boys 3rd-6th

You’ve never heard of it, but the kids love it! It’s always a huge success when part of Coach Paul’s Sports Club, so this time we’re offering it on its own. The rules are the same as kickball but with some fun variations, among them: (1) bases are big mats, (2) there are five bases, (3) many people can be on base at once, and (4) if the inning ends while you’re on base, you pick up the next inning back on that base. Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers.
